A Very Special Day for All of Us.

G'pa John and G'ma Nita gave Kylee and Jared the news that we would be having lunch at the exclusive Club 33 in Disneyland. They are giving them directions on how to get into the "secret door" in this picture. It was funny because it was so loud that the kids kept saying, "what?" and I think John & Nita must have repeated themselves twenty times.

I made the kids pose with the menu so we have proof we were actually there.

We begged a passer-by to take our picture in front of the door after we ate.

Our original purpose of this trip was a family Christmas Celebration without the gifts, just enjoying the company of family and letting the kids have fun. We went with The Kanes's, The Williams' and the others were missed that were coming but unforseen things happened. Poppy and GG were not able to stay due to illness and Mike and Brianna were busy with their new baby. We missed them but understand that things happen to all of us. Hope GG and Poppy are feeling better soon and maybe Mike and Bri are getting SOME sleep.

We are having a BLAST in Disneyland!!!

Here are some pictures of our fun filled dayat Disneyland!!! We also got to go see Aunti Bri and Uncle Mike's Baby because she was born at the hospital just down the freeway. She is beautiful!!! Her pictures are on here too along with her PROUD PARENTS!!

A lot of stuff I missed lately!!

So this blog will be long and maybe boring for some of you. I have missed a few things lately that we have had happen or have done, so below will be some pictures and captions to show you what we have been up to. Also some of the stuff we already posted but now have better pictures of them. Thanks for looking and sharing our lives with us. We appreciate all of our friends and family!!! Love you all!!!

This past weekend we had a lot of fun things planned and things seemed to change instantly. We did have a great weekend though, even through it all. On Friday night we went to see a great friends son's championship football game. They won!! It was great! Saturday we had a family day, Jared and Bob worked on his boat and Kylee and I did inside stuff, it was too cold to be outside. Then Saturday evening we were going to a friends for dinner and Kylee instead had us take a detour to Kaiser to get two stiches in her finger. She was a MAJOR Drama Queen through the whole process. It was almost comical!! Jared was an amazing help though. Poor dad was in the shower when we broke the news to meet us in the car to go to the hospitol. Then we had great day on Sunday decorating the tree and then Sunday evenng went to another friends for a nice family dinner with them and their children. It was a Great weekend, action packed and all. Next weekend we head to Disneyland where I hope to at least get pics up nightly of our adventures.

This was Kylee in the same parade. We went to John and Anita's and watched the parade with all our family and friends. The kids loved having everyone there to see "them".

We have so many things that happened this week that we never had time to put it on here so we are going to do a couple things a day over the next couple of days.
We had an OUTSTANDING Thanksgiving with lots of friends and family.
Everyone wrote on a leaf what they were "Thankful for". It was so neat to read all the things we all have been blessed with!!!



The kids and some adults rode dirt bikes on the track and a couple even CRASHED, although they got "right back on the horse" and continued riding. Like boys do!!!








We ended up with about 40 or so people. It was so fun having so many!!

Kylee was in a parade with her dance class. Here we are getting her hat on, yes she got a cute Santa skirt on later. (she did have a leotard under her shirt, no I didn't let here run around in nothing).

Jared was also in the parade with his Cub Scout Troop. They had a great float with a John Deere Tractor pulling it. Bob and Jared had a blast on this event!!! I sat in the audience and video taped and took pictures. We will add more as we can.

After the parade we went back to Johns and Anita's place for turkey soup and hot chocolate. It was great to get to visit with everyone and laugh about the "funnies" of the parade. We are just so happy to have so many amazing family members and friends in our lives. This week has reinforced the happiness we feel as we get to spend our precious lives with you all. Thanks to everyone for being a part of our lives and letting us share ours with you !!!! We love you all and wish you a Happy Holiday Season!!!!

Another Weekend Flew By!!

This is Jared's new boat, he bought it himself and is going to fix it up to be his Fishing Boat. What an amazing kid!!

This was another busy weekend in the life of the Bettger's. Jared and Bob went camping with a lot of fellow Cub Scouts. They went to a local ranch that borders a river and got to goldpan, hike and sleep in the COLD. They had a great time.

Kylee and I went to Angels to visit grandma and grandpa, we kind of surprised them so they had to take us along on their plans for the evening. They were going to a birthday party for a friend of theirs and we tagged along. Grandpa played the drums and Kylee danced like a "Bettger" dances. We spent the night and went to see Nana in the morning and then went to dance. Then we had a great family dinner together and are getting ready for bed now.

Busy Weekend for Us!!

We had a busy weekend. Started off with a soccer game for Jared at noon followed by Kylee's parade practice for dance. Then we had to pack for the boys to leave on their overnight trip to Monterey Bay Aquarium. Bob even got cots for them to sleep on. Bob and Jared left at 5:30am on Sunday morning and got to Monterey at 10. Jared was a great brother and bought Kylee a great gift. Kylee and I went to see a friend ride in a really neat horseshow. She jumped jumps as high as 5 ft 3 in. It was amazing. Then we had lunch with another friend and went shopping and had parade practice again on Sunday. We got to bed early, but the boys stayed up for the overnight program at the aquarium till 11:30pm. I can't believe Jared was up that late!!!!! They then got up Monday morning and didn't even shower :) They went out to the beach and played in tidepools, waves, etc. They left there about 1 and went to Bass Pro Shops in manteca, Yes Jared went NUTS!!!! Kylee went to school and I rested for the week to come. Now we have had our healthy dinner and are having some great family time. Cant wait until next weekend to post again!!!

What has happened? What is coming??

Well, let's see....
For Halloween we has a great time at a friends house. We made a haunted house in thier downstairs....went through 700 full size candy bars. We LOVED every minute of the children's faces when they came out of the house and said "That was sooo cool!!"
Next to come Bob and Jared have a trip to the Monterey Bay Aquarium this weekend. They get to stay the night in the aquarium (yes, I am jealous!). Kylee and I will stay home and do all the housework and suff like that (not really).
Kylee is in dance class now and loves every minute of it.
Soon I will figure out how to put pics on here and will have them. Hope to keep all up to date with our lives on here, so have fun reading!!!
